After spending the last eight years in San Francisco practicing general and emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. Lisa Kim has recently returned with her family to sunny Santa Cruz, where she had previously resided. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology with marine emphasis at UCLA and completed her veterinary studies at UC Davis in 2003.
Dr. Kim has a particular interest in emergency medicine and surgery, but most of all, she really thrives on the connections that can only be made by caring for pets and their families.
She lives in Santa Cruz attempting to mange a busy household with two little human (and a third expected in the Spring of 2015), her husband, their dog, Grizzwold, and three cats – Lisle, Bea, and Nacho. In her spare time she enjoys making “stuff” and hopes to eventually find spare time to enjoy the outdoors with her family and dog.
